The 39th annual AQS Quilt Show – Paducah 2025

Hello Everyone,

This was my first time attending the Paducah Quilt Show. The home of AQS (American Quilter’s Society). It was amazing, not only did they have vendors in the show, but they also had quilt shops all around town having sales on all their fabrics and notions, etc.…

The AQS Quilt Show in Paducah, KY is a fantastic quilt show open to the public every year. Hosted by American Quilter’s Society, it’s a four-day quilt event filled with inspiring quilt exhibits, hands-on workshops, and vendors packed with all the fabric, tools, and gadgets you never knew you needed. This is the 39th annual AQS Quilt Show in Paduca.

This is an event where quilters of all levels—beginners, pros, and everyone in between—come together to see amazing quilts, learn new skills, and connect with other quilt-lovers. It was absolutely breathtaking to see the creativity of these quilts. 

They had inspiring lectures, quilt challenges, and even a chance to        meet some of the big names in the quilting world. Whether you're there to learn, shop, or just soak up the creative vibes, Paducah is a fun place to be. 

There was another reason why I wanted to go to Kentucky. My brother lives in Franklin. So, I got to visit him too. He took me around the historical parts of Franklin. I saw the church where Johnny Cash and June Carter got married.

They still work on the jail cells.

They  also have some big antique malls in Kentucky, which I love.

I went to the Heitage Antique Mall and

 Brights Antique World Mall.

These malls are huge, you can get lost in them -

which is fine by me. I love them. Yes, I bought a few

things that I could fit in my suitcase, but boy did 

I want to buy more. :-)

I also love everything primitive. I has to go to

this primitive store I saw on my you-tube channel I watch, (Bridgett's Primitive Passion) Bridgett was touring this little shop in Franklin called

Small Town Primitives.  I had to go and meet Cindy Willson and check-out her store. Cindy is very friendly and her store is 

warm and inviting as she is, and of course I had to buy a 

few primitive things too.

I had such a nice time visiting, shopping, site seeing and don't

forget the AQS quilt show.
