Sampler Christmas Party

This past Friday was our Close to Home Christmas and Sampler quilt party.  This is where everyone that was in the Sampler block of the  month class can bring in their quilt for display.  The quilts that were on display were beautiful –

Sweater Pillow

Hello Friends,

I had a very dear friend ask me to make a special sweater pillow for her with pictures. I’ve never done a sweater pillow before…  I was so excited to do this special project for her and her son. Her mom had passed away a while ago and had a favorite sweater that she liked to wear.  I thought what a wonderful idea, to make a memory pillow out of it.   I love it!

It turned out beautiful - She wanted me to keep the arms on… So, I thought of a couple different ways to do this – I could have tucked them in, but I like the idea of decorating the front a little bit – so I decided to make a bow out of them.

I really like the way this turned out :-)
